Scholastic encore

_ A Terrace student was one of
just fifteen in B.C. ta receive
the $5,000 Premier’s Excellence
Award this year.

Jason Krause, a. 1991
graduate of Caledonia Senior
Secondary was’ awarded the
scholarship in July based on his
academic excellence and his
extra-curricular service.

Krause served as a director on
Caledonia’s student. council,
was chairman of the Grad com-
mittee,
school’s Physics Olympic team
which captured second place at
this “year’s competition and

cent provincial jamboree, con-
sists of a tan shirt with navy
blue beret, shoris/pants, socks

by ‘colour-coded epauleites,
sash bordering, belts and beret-
badge backing. For Cubs the
colour will be yellow with green
for Scouts, blue for Venturers
and red for Ravers.
