Editor, Terrace “Omineca” Herald It would be interesting to come back to this earth in a century to see what type of cannibals have taken over the deal. Recently the Editor (presumably neuter gender) suggested that Terrace should have a debating society. I have mixed feelings toward the thought. If the Editor had a very small, informal study group in mind, somewhat like the early Fabian Society in England, me- thinks it would serve a useful purpose, Such a group could pur- sue advanced studies in sociology, biology, genetics, astronomy ard the like — or perhaps they could assemble some ammunition in the phoney politicians. Our first line of defence against murderers is the police force. If it should come about that hanging is ruled out — there will be fewer arrests of murderers.
