Res Duplex Zoning Policy

Th e Committee met on September 25th with the view to discuss
with some local builders the policy concerning duplex zoning. However,
among those invited, only one attended the meeting.

The Committee recommends that for a duplex lot, the minimum
width of the front buiiding line be not less than 50 feet.

Building line is defined as a line parallel to the front lot
line at a distance from the front lot line equal to the depth of front
yard required by the Zoning By-law. ;

. Where the’ lot is on the outside of a curve, the building line
shall be defined as a line between side lot lines parallel to the
front lot line at a distance from the front lot line equal to the
required front yard.
