BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION: On September 24, 1990 the Municipal Council gave approvel to proceed to the subject application subject to: | 2. Completion of a design to the satisfaction of the Director of | Planning, with provision of sufficient parking for the retail amd the reataurant within the designated lease area, oa the north side cf the exiating gas bar". - ee . The applicants attempted a redesign to comply with the placing of parking as suggested by Council, but was not successful. Consequently, they have requested that this condition be removed. oo : In support of the above request the applicants note that both, the gas agtation and the proposed retail. space/restaurant, are on one property, and parking provided within the property exceeds the Bylaw requirements for the two buainesses combined. _
