THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM ' ZONING BY-LAW UU 7) The Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitian will hold a Public Hearing in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B. C. on Monday, September 25th, 1972 at 7:30 p.m. to consider the following proposed by-law to amend the “City of Port Coquitlam Zoning By-law, 1969, No. 918": By-law No, 1203: Firstly, to rezone property located in the City Centre Area, the Flint Street-Coquitlam Avenue Area, and the Prairie Road-Coast Meridian Road Area that is presently zoned either Ri-1 (Low Density Apartment Residential) or RM-2 (Medium Density Apartment Residential) but not in use for those purposes to RS~1 (One-Family Residential). Secondly, to designate all the property affected by the rezoning noted above as Development Areas pursuant to Section 702A of the Municipal Act, thus permitting the Council and an owner of land within the said area to enter into "Land Use Contracts’ containing such terms and conditions for the use and development of the land as may be wutually agreed upon. Although upon agreement being reached between the Council and the owner of land any conceivable use of the property is possible it is the present inrention of the Council to give consideration only to proposals for residential uve of the property and the existing regu~ lations in the RM-1 (Low Density Apartment Residential) and RM-2 (Medium Density Apartment Residential) zones will be used as guidclines. Prior to entering into a specific Land Use Contract a Public Hearing must be held and the same notice thereof given as is required for a change to the Zoning By-law of the City. A copy of the proposed By-law may be inspected in the Office of the City Clerk, Port Coquitlam City Hall, at the address given above, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. - on working days - from September 14th to September 25th, 1972. All persons who deem their interest in property affected by the pro- posed by-law shall be afforded an opportunity to be heard at Public Hearing on matters contained in the by-law. : > aS.
