The Major Bambino league is a division of Ter- race Minor Baseball and features youth aged 11-12 before they enter the Junior Babe Ruth League for players 13 to 15 years old. The Lions went un- defeated in round-robin play Starting with an 11-10 win over Farko Friday, June 25. They went on strong to beat Chevron and Ikon in their second and third games Saturday. Sunday saw the Lions defeat the Crampton Cubs and All West Glass to bring them to the finals. The championship game saw the Lions in a tough pilching duel with Farko. Pitchers Craig Schultz and Rory Inkster put in solid performances for the Lions, while Cody Latimer and Devin Mikkelsen faced tough Lions batters. The sixth and final ianing of the game saw the Lions with a Eour-run lead. Farko was siill alive with last bats, but the Lions defense came up big.
