have TIME

formed their own associations.

Terrace Independent Music
Educators (TIME) has eight
members teaching piano, vocal
guitar and other instruments.

TIME started in September with
cight members to share ideas and
provide support.

for our students and it benefits

This takes place this Saturday,
Dec, 3 and Sunday, Dec, 4 at 7
p.m. both nights at ihe Terrace
Pentecostal Assembly on Eby.

The growth in the popularity of
the community carol sing has
resulted in the decision this ycar
to hold it over two nights.

Women’s
cancer

workshop

TERRACE WOMEN will have
the opportunity to Icarn more
about cancer.

Two cancer awareness work-
shops are being held in Terrace
December 10 and 11,

Buncy Pagely, a Victoria con-
sultant, will be presenting ihe
workshops,

The December 10 workshop is
being held from 1:00-4:00 p.m. in
the Skcena Health Auditorium.

The December 11 workshop
will be held at the Sikh Temple
on Medeck Avenue from 1:00-
4:00 p.m. and will be conducted
in Punjabi.

A doclor and nurse will be on
hand to answer any questions at
both workshops.

There is no registration fee.

Organizing the workshops are
the Cancer Society, Skeena
Health Unit, Terrace Women's
Resource Centre, Terrace
Hospice Society, Immigrant and
Visible Minarily Women and the
Terrace Multicultural Associa-
tion,
