Undeniably French Canadian, Matapat's
music reflects influences from a diverse
spectrum of musical traditions and
cultures while driving the soul and spirit
of folk music in new and exciting
directions. This ensemble delivers a

1997, Matapat's members share a
common goal: To take the audience on a
