Tree Preservation Removal & Replacement Bylaw

RECOMMENDATIONS:

That third reading of the "Tree Preservation and Replacement Bylaw, 1993 No.
2836" be rescinded.

That the Bylaw be amended by deleting Section 10(e) and substituting the
following:

"(e) Cutting within a calendar year of the greater of:

i). 5% of the trees on a lot, provided that the following
conditions are met:

(A) no trees shall be removed within 5 meters from
the perimeter of a lot; and

(B) no trees shall be removed within 10 meters from a highway;
or

ii) one tree per lot."

That Bylaw No. 2836 be given third reading as amended.
