As active members of the Council of Canadian Airlines Employees and members of the
International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, we are writing today
to ask for your support.

We believe that both Air Canada and Canadian Airlines should remain viable in order
to service The Lower Mainland with competitive air travel. We also believe that if
Canadian Airlines is forced into bankruptcy it could have a devastating effect on the
local economy.

The prospects of thousands of Canadian Airlines employees joining the ranks of the
unemployed, with an already over burdened social system, makes our future as
members of the community bleak.

Canadian. Airlines is running out of time. We need your support now!
