At the Council Meeting held December 9,'1985, Council were advised that ae oS
B.C. Hydro had been issued a permit to run their operations at the fon a
Burrard Thermal Generating Plant at 44% of their capacity year round, for ens

“THAT the City of Port Maody Council send a letter to
G.V.R.D., The Honourable C, Stephen Rogers, The.
Minister of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources, and
The Honourable F.C. Austin Pel ton, The Minister of”
Environment, strongly objecting to the basis of
operation allowed B.C. Hydro under the permit Issued
AND FURTHER THAT the City appeal the issuance of this
Permit to the appropriate authorities. "
