The Port Coquitlam Old Timers Hockey Association hereby voices the
desire to host a thirty-two team invitational old timers hockey
tournament between the dates of September 20/79 and September 23/79.

AS one may appreciate this is a major undertaking on the part of
PoCo 014 Timer Hockey therefore any special considerations on the
part of City Council,the Recreation Department and the Leisure
Activities Committee would be greatly appreciated.

Dates and ice times requested; both rinka:
Thursday Sept 20/79 ---— 5:00PM to 1:00AM time approximate
Friday Sept 21/79 -~---~ 8:00AM to 1:00AM time approximate
Saturday Sept 22/79 ~--- 8:00AM to 1:00AM time approximate
Sunday Sept 23/79 ---~-—— 8:00AM to 7sQ00PM time approximate

Other rooms end or areas requested for tournament duration:

Special considerations requested:
The PoCo Old Timers Hockey Association requests that icé rental
fees for this tournament be set at one half the existing
commercial rates,this rate would produce a revenue of
approximately two thousand ($2,000) dollars in ice rentals in
the three and one half days of the tournament.

it is estimated that this tournament would bring from the western
United States and Canada six hundred adult hockey players and their
families with a spending potencial of close to two hundred thousand
($200,v 20) dollars,much of which will remain in the PoCo area.
