June 23rd, 1975 A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corpcration of the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chamber, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B. C., on June 23rd, 1975, at 7:30 p.m. His Worship Mayor J.M. Campbell, Aldermen J.J. Keryluk, G.R. Laking, E.W. Mabbett, P.F. Ranger, M.A. Thompson, and L.M. Traboulay in attendance. Also in attendance were Chief Administrative Officer L.D. Pollock, City Clerk R.A. Freeman, City Engineer V.G. Borch, P. Eng., Fire Chief W.S. Wingrove, City Planring Technician Reg Zotzman, and Mrs. B.M. Aalten. ZONING PUBLIC HEARING: His Worship Mayor J.M. Campbell advised the meeting the following proposed By-law to amend the "City of Port Coquitlam Zoning By-law, 1969, No. 918" would now be considered: By-law No. 1385: To rezone Lot 115, District Lots 255 and 384, Plan 47284 from RS-2 (One-Family Suburban Residential) to RS-1 (One~Family Residential). This property is a 7~acre parcel located at the North-east corner of Taylor Street and Pooley Avenue and it is expected that approximately 41 residential lots will be created following completion of the rezoning procedures. No one was presert in opposition to the proposed Zoning Amendment By-law; however, Alderman Ranger advised he would have been speaking against it had he not been assured by the City Engineer that the development would not create more problems with respect to the water system in that area. The Public Hearing concluded at 7:35 p.m., and the regular Council meeting then commenced. CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES: Moved by Alderman Laking: Seconded by Alderman Mabbett: That the minutes of the regular meeting of this Council held on June 16th, 1975, be taken as read and adopted. Carried.
