- Sbssociation Covcceeved Cttizercs a AAS tees SELON ASA SNe CTE 2820 Burns Rd., Port Coouitlan, March 25, 1974. - Mayor & Council City of Port Coquitlan, 2272 McAllister, Port Coquitlam, B. C. Dear Sirs: Reguarding the rezoning of approximately 38 acres of land on Cedar Drive, to permit subddivision for residental purposes. (consisting of 212 units). The Association of Concerned Citizens strongly recommend that the rezoning of this vroperty by City Council should not be considered, until after City Council meets with the School Board and we cre assured that adequate schools will be available on all the Northside of Port Coquitian. You may recall that at last week's Council meeting, a rezoning application R#l-74 which requested that 10 to le residential lots be made available on Prairie Ave. The Planning & Zoning committee felt that with 32 lots now available north of Lougheed Highway, that this application be turned down. Gentlemen, I am sure you can see thet 212 units added with the G. V. R. D. development of 200 units is just to much to ask our School Board to provice schools for ina short period of time. Yours tr Don Ray Chairman FESR TNS
