You can pick up recipe sheets at the library and happy gang centre, or call Janny at 635-2607, Seniors’ lottery helps projects The Seniors’ Spring Sensation Lottery takes place this year on April 23 in Victoria. But you don’t have to live in the lower mainland for a chance to win up to $50,000 or one of 125 bonus prizes, including cash, camcor- ders, TVs and much more. The Seniors’ Lottery is in its 13th year, and is the only lottery in North America which raises funds for senior’s projects. Since 1982, over 800 seniors’ projects have received grants totaling more than $4.4 million. In Terrace the lottery contrib- uted $2,500 to the Skeena Horse- Shoe club in 1985, $1,100 to the Terrace Old Age Pensioners’ Or- ganization in 1986, and most recently $10,000 to Terraceview Lodge in 1994, for a bus. Tickets for the lottery can be purchased through local seniors’ organizations, or by calling 604- 685-4403. Mortons return for visit Ken and Lorna Morton, Ter- race residents for 23 years, were recently in town, visiting from their retirement home in White Rock. _-Ken came to Terrace to help conduct a retirement seminar for local teachers.
