Sharon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Wright of Terrace, and Simon, son of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Bolton-Smith of Chelmsford, Essex, England, were married in a ceremony at two o’clock in the afternoon. by Joan Wright Terrace Contributor The bride, given in marriage by her father, was in a wedding gown of semi-formal length, constructed of lace- embroidered net over satin. She wore a match- ing hat complete with a chapel veil, and carried a bouquet of pink roses, Mr. & Mrs. Simon Bolton-Smith in English church | white carnations, and lilac freesia. Her two bridesmaids, Lisa Bolton-Smith, sister of the groom, and Mandy Jones, a friend of the bride, wore matching dresses of lilac silk taf- feta and carried bou- quets similar to the bride’s with trailing pink Mr. Alex Houlden of Terrace, and in honor of the bridesmaids by Simon Bolton-Smith; and in reply for the ‘bridesmaids, by Mr. Paul Ridley, best man to the groom. Cards and telegrams were read from absent family and and lilac ribbons. The bride’s mother wore a turquoise silk gown and a cream-colored hat. The groom’s mother wao.e an apricot silk suit, com- plete with a white hat. After the wedding ceremony everyone pro- ceeded to the Angel Inn, an old English pub, fora buffet luncheon. These are great items to have as they can be worn casual or be dressed up for evening wear. For example, during the day you can wear your new sweater with black denim, whereas in the even- ing you can wear your new sweater with a classic black skirt. , Accent your fall outfits with costume jewellery such as large hoop earrings or lots of bracelets. The long shirt look that began in the spring has been carried through to fall. There are different styles to choose from in great fabrics like cotton and rayon. Leggings are also back — and look great teamed up with a long shirt or else a colorful sweater. Top it off with a rhinestone brooch or beads.
