THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF FORT COQUITLAM REAL PROPERTY FOR SALE BY TENDER The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam invites tenders for the purchase of the undernoted property: Lot "A", Block 25, District Lot 174 and 289, Plan xxxx, New Westminster District This property is located on the north side of the 2300 Block Pitt River Road and the east side of Rowland Street being approximately %.7591 ha (1.87 acres). The property is presently zoned P-1 (Public Institutional) and RS~1 (Large Lot Residential). Tenders must be enclosed in a sealed envelope plainly marked on the outside “Tender for 2300 Blk Pitt River Road Property" and addresged to: Susan Rauh City Clerk, City of Port Coquitlam, Third Floor, 2580 Shaughnessy Street, Port Coquitlam, BC V3C 2A8 and be in her hands by 12:00 o'clock noon, Thureday, October Ist, 1992. Any tender received after this time will be returned unopened as will all tenders inadvertently opened before the closing time as a result of not being adequately marked on the outside of the sealed envelope as required. Terms of Sale 1. a) A certified cheque in the amount of $5,000.00 payable to the City of Port Coquitlam must accompany each tender as a deposit and each tender will be open for acceptance by the Council for a period of 30 days. Upon a tender being accepted by the Couneil a further installment of $45,000.00 must be paid to the City by certified cheque by the successful tenderer within five days of receipt of notice of acceptance of the tender or the deposit will be forfeited. The balance of the offered price must be paid by the successful tenderer within 30 days or as soon thereafter as requested or the deposit will be forfeited. This time limit may be extended as povided in Section 5 and/or by mutual consent. The certified cheques of the unsuccessful tenderers will be returned no later than 30 days after the closing time specified above. Unless a tender specifies that in the event the tender is unsuccessful the cheque is to be held for personal pickup from the City Hall ordinary mail will be used for return.
