RECOMMENDATION: |

That Council approve the addition of 6 Fire Fighters.

BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS:

The additional staff will allow the Fire Department to maintain a
minimum manning of 10 men.

The benefits such as higher efficiency and increased vehicle
response are outlined in the attached report.
