SUBJECT: Development Variance Permit No. 80/89
for 1284 Brand Street,

RESOLUTION:

That as recommended by the Director of Community Planning in his
memorandum of January 15th, 1990 the Voluntary Development Variance Permit be
issued for 1284 Brand Street reducing the minumum side yard in an RS=-1 zone.
from 1.5m to 1.3m.

BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS:

Pursuant to instructions issued by the Council at its meeting of
January 22nd, 1990 the owners and residents of property surrounding the
subject property have been advised that Council are considering issuance of
this Voluntary Development Variance Permit at its meeting of February 19th,
1990. Accordingly, at this time written or verbal submissions should be
considered by the Council and a decision reached as to whether or not the
Development Variance Permit should be issued.
