| i j } Item I - Tnformation Only Re: The Simon Fraser Health Unit The proposed plans are now avaiiable for Committee's perusal and show an added wing to the eastern side of the existing building as well as a second floor. Committee Comrents: The Committee briefly discussed the addition to the Simon Fraser Health Unic. It was the feeling of the Conmittce that sufficient plans showing parling, access, egress, elevations and a more acurate site plan were required prior to comment. This item will be dealt with at a later date when more information is available. , Item IIT Re: Environmental and Land Use Committee The Regional District has been instructed to provide for the Environmental and Land Use Committee of the Provincial Government a reserve area map showing areas that are to be held by the Municipalities in their regional district for Agricultural and Recreational purposes. I would suggest that the map which is displayed at the meeting be forwarded to the regional district as our future reserve plan. Committee Conments: The Committee reviewed a sketch plan showing the reserve areas that were out— lined for submission to the Regional District as reserve areas. It was noted that an additional strip should be added along the dyke area running from the Pitt River outfall north to the DeBouville Slough which would encompass the Poco Trail as a reserve area and this should be forwarded to the Regional District as our long range reserve areas, The areas are broken into two cate gories, one showing the agricultural reserve the other showing park reserves will be forwarded to the Land Use Committee for their information and inclusion into areas under consideration in Bill 42. Item iV Re: Imperial O11 Truck Lot | Attached is the information received from our City Solicitors regarding the views on night watchmen and the parking of trailers. Mr, Thonpson's opinion is that as long as the trailer accommodation can be considered an accessory use which is necessary and incidental to the main use of the property, it would conform to the by-law. If Council is in agreement with this use they should process a letter to Mr. Reid of Imperial 011, advising him that he may proceed with the construction of such a truck lot. Committee Comments: It was the opinion of the Committee that information ag attached should be forwarded to Imperial 011 to the attention of Mr. Reid and that he be advised that he may proceed with the construction of such a truck lot provided that conditions under the zoning by-law are met.
