celebrations which have a long tradition in Victoria.

Congratulations to la societe francophone de Victoria for work *

in promoting the French fact in Victoria. The work of the society
helps in fulfilling one of the original purposes of la societe
Saint-Jean-Baptiste - uniting Canadians, giving them the opportunity
of helping each other.

The presence of the growing francophone community in Victoria
enhances our community and Canada as well. We will have achieved
our full potential as a nation when francophones can live, work,
and celebrate their traditions as freely and fully in Victoria

as anywhere in Quebec.
