BACKGROUND : ‘The application is for relaxation of parking to permit a watchman's suite in an existing apartment block. Building Department: ‘The watchman's suite has been reviewed for compliance with the B.C. ‘Building Code. | Fire Department: No comments. Engineering Department: Addition of suite inside existing apartment building. No Engineering requirements. | DISCUSSION s The creation of a watchman suite is in an existing apartment block. The Development Variance Permit is required for the deficiency in parking. Presently there are 18 suites plus the proposed new watchman's suite bringing the total to 19 suites.
