Alderman Ranger drew attention to the fact that several residences were in close proximity to the property where permission to burn has been requested; however, Mayor Campbell stated he disagreed with the concept of not permitting burning in clearing land, and pointed out that there was burning around his residence preparatory to new houses being -built.
