The group that is organizing the program is working with the Simon Fraser Health
. Unit and they have asked for Council endorsement of the application and if
possible a letter from the Mayor to the appropriate Minister expressing our

endorsement with a copy to Premier Barrett and to Mark Rose,M.P. and perhaps
5. Legyatt, M.P.

The Health Committee recommend endorsement subject to the program being co-
ordinated by the Simon Fraser Health Unit. ;

3. Replacement for Ralph Palmer

The Committee were informed that a replacement hes been found for Ralph Palmer

ea the Vector Control Officer. His name is Mr. Art Guite and he will be

& commencing work around the middle of March. As reported earlier by the Committee
i it ia anticipated that this may become a Provincially paid position.
