Councillor Gates suggested that a letter be written to the Ministry of Environment, with a copy to Mike Fmnworth, inquiring whether the standards will be changing, and for an information package to be sent. ~D WATER OUALITY IMPROVEMENT Committee received this mport for information. Councillor Gates suggested that the Works Yard standpipe be checked for residuals - if high, bleach should be added to water when flushing streets etc. that would lead into storm sewers.
