Chon g presented the Comm t tee Members — recent discussions which i w i he has had with th a summary of the various regulatory agenc es charged wi th the respons b ty of manag ing the Coqu t am Ri ver . He al so presented the Comm ittee Members with a summary of the recommendations which were made as a result of the 1978 Coquit am River Water Management Study conducted by the Water Investigations Branch. The Committee then discussed the foi lowing i i i I i i I 1 i the proposed work involved in cleaning up of the Coquit am River. The sequence of events which should occur prior to the City app ying for funds to have the proposed works carr ed out. Ai derman Gates stated that recent discussions he has had with Mr. Gerry St. Germaine, M.P. have assured him that Federal Funds are avai labie to have this type of work carried out.
