The Potters! Guild of British Columbia Page #2 Newsletters October, 1975. HYCROFT: Applications are pouring in!! It is very gratifying to get such a res- ponce after letting you down last year. Besides everyone selling lots of pots, and the boost to the Guild's bank account, it is really great to see all those potters together. The people at Hycroft are very happy to have us back again and we are very happy to be there. Bring only your good pots - no seconds please. Make sure your vases, mugs, jugs, tea pots, etc. hold water and smooth those scratchy bottoms. As Harry Davis said: ''Respect the other craftsman, expecially the French polisher." If you've missed Hiro at the House of Ceramics these past few months it is '.. because he has been making pots day and night for his show, with Muriel Parfitt, opening at his gallery at 7:30 p.m. on October 6th. Hiro is leaving shortly after for a well earned holiday. Following this show comes one by Wayne Ngan and later on Marjory Johnston will show her pottery there.
