busier than ever before — eam-
ing a living, supporting depen-
denis, running a home, doing
volunteer work —.we can some-
times get too busy to even take
care of our own health.

A little reminder this week
again to all women that October
is Breast Health month.

Breast cancer is the most com-
mon form of cancer among
women It can strike at any age.
The earlier it is detected the
greater the chance of survival.

Take it from Helen Bergen,
who 10 and a half years ago was
diagnosed with breast cancer.

Don’t wait, she says. See your
doctor now for a physical exam-
ination, ;

She now volunteers her time to
go and share concerns and talk to
others who are faced with this
devastating illness.

The next breast  self-
examination clinic will be on Oct.
30 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
