Included will be players _ from colleges in Canada and the United States, members of junior and senior teams, community colleges and Canadians who have been piaying in Europe as amateurs. Holmes, who is a technical evordinator for the Olympic team, says a couple of Cana- dians in Europe whose names come to mind are Peter Gaw, a former Ottawa ‘ets forward playing in Switzerland, and Dick Decloe, a formernTcronto Merlboros junior who was the top scorer in the West German league this winter, The idea of the summer camps, which will probably be held in late August, is to find enough talent for one or even two teams. A club of junior-age players would go to Strekhelm for the world wuaive Championships at Christmas ‘and a team of over-age players yould go to another tournament in Gre- noble, France, at the same time. Involved with Holmes in talent selection will be Georges Lariviere, a Hockey Canada director whose area is amateur hockey, and Father David Bauer, former Community programs grants tota $5.4 million have been approved for 211 social service agencies according to Human Resources Minister Bill Vander Zalm.
