unita Romeder, thérapeute par la danse, est la fondatrice et directrice de SEAD (Centre

de Self Expression et de thérapie par la danse). Elle a étudié différentes approches de

danse et de mouvement et a obtenu sa Maitrise en Arts (thérapie par la danse) a l'Institut
Tamalpa de San Francisco avec Anna Halprin. Elle a aussi étudié la technique The Moving
Centre (Gabrielle Roth), la danse moderne et contemporaine, la danse Contact, la danse
africaine, la méthode Feldenkrais, le Mouvement Authentique, la méditation, la thérapie
Gestalt, le travail corporel Breema et I'hypnothérapie. En 1995, elle a créé un programme de
formation pour les thérapeutes désirant inclure le mouvement dans leur pratique. Elle dirige
aussi la section des thérapies par les arts 4 1’école de théatre physique TooBa. Sunita travaille
aussi avec des personnes ayant des problémes spécifiques tels que la dépression, |’ anorexie et
l’abus sexuel.

received her Master of Arts in Dance Therapy at the Tamalpa Institute (San Fransisco)
with Anna Halprin. Her other professional and personal developments include The Moving
Center (Gabrielle Roth), Modern and Contemporary Dance, Contact Dance, African Dance
(Olatunji), Feldenkrais , Authentic Movement, Meditation, Gestalt therapy, Breema Bodywork
andHypnotherapy. In 1995, she developed a training program for therapists wanting to incor-
porate movement in their work. She is also head of the Healing Arts component at Tooba
Physical Theater School. Sunita works with groups and individuals with special needs such as
women with eating disorders, stroke patients and survivors of violence and sexual abuse.
