A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of the Corporation of The City
of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam City Hall,
2580 Shaughnessy Street, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on Monday, May 15, 1989, at 7:30
PpeM.

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay, Aldermen M.C. Farnworth, W.W. Stewart,
G.R. Laking, and M.R. Wright in attendance.

Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R. Kirk, City Clerk/Deputy
Administrator R.A. Freeman, City Engineer T.M. Chong, and Director of
Community Planning W.A. Brown.

CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES:

That the minutes of the Public Hearing and Regular Council meeting held on
May 8th, 1989, be taken as read and adopted.

DELEGATIONS;

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay introduced Mr. Toivo Allas, P.Eng., from
the Greater Vancouver Regional District who gave a presentation to Council
regarding G.V.R.D. Comprehensive Region-Wide Recycling Program.

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay introduced Mr. Ron Talbot and Ms. Lois
Milne of the Heritage and Cultural Society who invited Council members to a
"Get Acquainted Reception’ on Thursday, May 25th, 1989.

That Bylaw No. 2423 be read a third time.

That the “Annual Rudget Bylaw, 1988, No. 2359, Amendment Bylaw, 1989, No.
2425" be reconsidered, finally passed and adopted.

That the Annual Budget Bylaw, 1989, No. 2426” be reconsidered,
passed and adopted.
