Moved by Alderman Ranger: Seconded by Alderman Laking: That as requested in the October 20th, 1975 letter from the Port Coquitlam Amateur Athletic Association, permission be granted to conduct a raffle in and about the City of Port Coquitlam between November 8th and December 20th, 1975 with the prize to be a one minute shopping spree in the local liquor store. Carried. REPORTS: From the Environmental Sub-Committee, October 24th, 1975 being a report of a meeting held October 23rd, 1975 with members of the Port Coquitlam Hunting and Fishing Club to discuss the proposal to conduct an inventory of spawning streams within School District # 43. The Committee streams & reward fund Ald. Ranger re licencing of all swimming pools recommends that the programme proposed by the Port Coquitlam Hunting and Fishing Club to conduct an inventory of spawning streams within School District #43 be endorsed and that an amount of $100.00 be allocated from the Health Committee's Budget towards the Reward Fund set up by the Club for information leading the arrest of any person violating either a By- law or Statute relating to the protection of fish or the protection of waterways. Moved by Alderman Keryluk: Seconded by Alderman Laking: That as recommended by the Environmental Sub-Committee in a report of October 24th, 1975 the proposal of the Port Coquitlam Hunting and Fishing Club to conduct an inventory of spawning streams within School District #43 be endorsed; AND THAT an amount of $100.00 be allocated from the Health Committee Budget towards the Club's Reward Fund.
