did not get here. until after nine a.m.
on Tuesday. The afternoon train was
also late. Another poor fish is blam-
ed; but it must have been a-white fish
from the. northern lakes.

The Hazelton Branch of the Native
Brotherlinod ‘of British Columbia held
a datice which proved a success, last
Thursday, Oct. 22, in the Kitanmax
Hall, Hazelton. There was the aver-
age number af twenty-five couple pre-
sont. ‘The latest dance hits were ren-
dered by the Hazelton Happy Six or-
ehestra. The dance was over at three
oelock Saturday morning. The pro-
ceeds totaling $30 will pay the expen-
ses of Hazelton delegates to the con-
yvontion at: Bella Bella on. November
22nd next. °
