Lincoln Projects Ltd. 1036 Cambie Road Richmond, B. C. April 21, 1975 Kr. V. Barch City Engineer City of Port Coquitian City Hal Port Coquitlam, B. C. Dear wir. Borch: Re: Parking Lot adjacent to Shaughnessy Mall Further to our earlier discussions, we now write to request that the above parking lot be "posted" with signs limiting the parking to 2 hours and that such limitation be enforced. 4s mentioned earlier, we are ofthe opinion that commter parking is our main problem, i.e. 7:15 a.m. car count runs at approximately 30 cars, and by 8:40 a.m. invariably the lot is full. fhe 7:15 a.m. count would appear to be mainly commters with the odd downtown employee being noticed. The increased count at 8:40 a.m. appears to be comprised of both commuters, downtown employees and U.I.C. employees. Lincoln Projects Ltd. have not enforced the "NO EMPLOYEE - PARKING" provision which is a standard clause in all our leases. I trust you will appreciate that until commters ang other day long parkers are eliminated it would te most unreasonable of us to insist that our tenants’ employees park elsewhere. i Mr. V. Borch Page 2. ‘April 21, 1975 We would suggest that commuter and downtown employee parking be restricted to parking areas such as the . Recreation Centre and other areas which are not directly adjacent to retail or service operations. Should there be any problems in implimenting the posting of the audject lot we would appreciate the opportunity of speaking with the appropriate officials. Yours truly, LINCOLN PROJECTS LID.
