1984 marks the 70% year that Central Elementary School has served

_ the community of Port Coquitlam. In honor of the occasion the present

and past staffs and students have planned several events. These include
& historical pageant "Central School through the Decades" and birthday
party on Wednesday, June 13, for the present staff, students and their
parents. On Friday, June 15%, the past staff and students from the
years.1914 - 1964 (the era of the original Central School) will be hold«
ing a reunion in the school.

The committees involved in planning these events request that the
City Council declare the week of June 11l® - 16% as Central School 70t
Anniversary week. ~ .
