NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING C
ZONING AMFNDMENT BYLAW NO. 1899

The Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam

will hold a Public Hearing in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam City Hall,
2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B.C.; on Monday, May 17th, 1982 at
7:30 p.m. to consider Zoning Amendment Bylaw No: 1899 which amends the

"City of Port Coquitlam Zoning Bylaw, 1979, No. 1651" in the following

manner:
(a) Section 34 (1) (d) will be repealed and the following will be substituted:
"(d) Shopping centres except amusement arcades."

(b) Section 35 (1) (e) will be repealed and the following will be substituted:

"Ce). Auditoriums, dance halls, night clubs, amusement
arcades and other entertainment establishments."

(c) Section 36 (1) will be repealed and the following will be substituted:

"(1) USES PERMITTED
Uses permitted in C-3 with the exception of amusement
arcades,"

The intent of the amendments noted above which are in Zoning Amendment

Bylaw No. 1899 will clarify the zoning bylaw with respect to amusement

arcades and provide that these may only be established on Property that

is zoned C-3. .
A copy of the proposed bylaw may be inspected in the Office of the City

Clerk, Port Coquitlam City Hall, at the address given above, between the hours

of 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon and from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 P-m., On working days,

May 4th, 1982 to May 17th, 1982.
All persons who deem their interest in property affected by the proposed
