That as recommended by the Public Works Committee, March 28th,
1978:

1. The mid-block location of the pedestrian-activated traffic
light on Prairie Avenve not be considered further.

2. A pedestrian-activated traffic light be installed at Prairie
Avenue and Flint Street as part of intersection improvements and as part
of the Prairie Avenue reconstruction proposed in the 1978 Budget. between
Shaughnessy Street and Flint Street.

3. The existing crosswalk across Prairie Avenue from the west side

Cambridge Street to the east side of Flint Street be moved to the west |
to the east side of Flint Street and that the school patrol be operated
on this crosswalk relocated to the east side of Flint Street rather than the
west side of Flint Street.
