The script was originally written (or in place of) an essay on performance art in the
60s and 70s for "Live at the End of the Century; Aspects of Performance Art in
Vancouver", a catalogue produced by grunt gallery in 2000. It was revised for live
performance and perhaps could be characterized as a retrospective performance, if
such a thing could exist. The script documents in true TV style the adventures of
Sleuth Lips, an FBI agent, who blunders through the performance art scene in
Vancouver during the 60s and 70s looking for draft dodgers. In the end he comes to
a greater understanding of himself and of art.
