Greenville man’s. death accidental POLICE say the death of a Greenville man last month appears to be the result of an accident. The dark green 1993 Suburban was stolen from the Kalum Kabs parking lot on Lazelle Ave. Nov. 24 before it was set ablaze 23.5km north of Terrace on Kalum Lake Drive. ; “We used it for high- way transportation for CN crews and out of town travel,” explains owner Roger Bal. The vehicle was parked at 9-p.m. and employees noticed the vehicle driving away from the parking lot around 11:30 p.m. Nov. 24. They assumed it was one of the company's own- ers driving so they didn't think anything of it, Bal says. But a few hours later a passing motorist called Terrace RCMP to report a vehicle on fire on Kalum Lake Drive. When police responded the Suburban was smoul- dering and completely in- cinerated. The ‘vehicle is insured and the company will have to purchase a replacement soon. Bal says the theft doesn’t really surprise him. “Things are getting desperate in this town,” he says.
