Green won $500. In the consolation final, Don Brise of Smithers edged clubmate Ken Bush 7-6. Brise won $250 while Bush took $150. The other four men’s side qualifiers — Ken Giles of Smithers, Bob Baase of Houston, Larry Burke of Terrace and Brian Jackson of Terrace — all won $100 for mak- ing it to the final eight. On the eight-team ladies’ side, Linda Movold of Prince Rupert won top money of $800 for her 7-4 win over Judy Degerness of Terrace in the cham- pionship game.
