Port Coquitlam City Hall. 2580 Shaughnessy Street, Port Coquitlam, BC on Monday, September 27th, 1993, at 7:30 p.m. Mayor L.M. Traboulay and Councillors, MJ. Gordon, J.J. Keryluk, and M.R. Wright were in attendance. Also in attendance were Administrator B.R. Kirk, City Clerk S. Rauh, City Treasurer/Deputy Administrator J.G.S. Maitland, Deputy Engineer J.E. CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES: Moved by Councillor Gordon: Seconded by Councillor Wright: That the minutes of the Public Hearing and Regular Council Meetings held on September 13th, 1993 be taken as read and adopted. PROCLAMATIONS: Whereas the Fire Commissioner of Canada states that many dedicated citizens have joined with the volunteer, professional and industrial fire safety personnel as "Partners in Fire Prevention" in a relentless effort to minimize loss to life and destruction of property; Whereas fire losses in Canada remain unacceptably high in comparison with those in other industrialized nations thereby necessitating improved fire prevention measures; Whereas it is desirable that information on fire causes and recommended preventative measures be disseminated during a specific period of the year; And whereas the 1993 fire prevention theme for this period is Get Out/Stay Out, Now therefore I, Leonard M.
