On December 16, BC Transit will begin
service Lo Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge. The
service plan features six routes and offers a
mux of regional, local and mural service,

BC Transit will operate the regional service,
a trunk route —- the 70] — that connects the
communities of Maple Ridge and Pitt Mead-
ows to Coquidain Town Centre and, during
peak hours, downtown Vancouver. The 701’s
eastern terminus will be 116 Avenue at 227
Sereet (South Uanev) or, on some tmps, 248
Sureet at Dewdney Trunk Roaa (Maple Ridge
east). Service on the route will operate seven
days a week and up to 18 hours a day, using 40-
foot buses. During peak peru.ds, service
frequency will be everv 15 minutes. Ac all other
