1991 Capital Works Projects

That the four Public Works Capital Projects shown in Table "A" for general storm
sewer repairs, Works Yard electrical upgrade, Pitt River Road sidewalk, and
Prairie and Coast Meridian Road median construction be approved at an estimated

cost of $189,056.00 .

That the four Sanitary Sewer Utility Capital Projects shown on Table "A" be
approved for general repairs, Scarborough Sewermain replacement, Davies
Sewermain reconstruction, and flash mixers for sanitary lift stations be approved at
an estimated cost of $335,000.00.

That the Water Utility Capital Projects shown in Table "A" including the Laurier
Watermain upgrading, and the Devon Watermain upgrading be approved at an
estimated cost of $185,000.06.

That $189,056.00 be allocated from the 1991 Public Works Capital Fund, that
$335,000.00 be allocated from the 1991 Sewer Utility Capital Fund, and
$185,000.00 be allocated from the 1991 Water Utility Capital Fund.

Attached is a list of the 1991 Capital Projects for Public Works, Sewer Works, and Water
Works, as approved for the 1991 budget. From this list of Capital Projects, 13 Capital Projects

have been approved to date.

Table "A" shows an additional 10 Capital Projects which are ready at this time for design and
construction. All these projects would be designed and constructed by the City Public Works
crew except for the Works Yard electrical upgrade which would be contracted to an electrical

contractor.
