City Engineer "PARKING" & "NO TRUCKS" RESTRI (Public Works Committee Meeting of May 7, 1991) ' That "No Parking Anytime" restriction signs be placed on both sides of Mary Hill Road from the Mary Hill Bypass to the south property line of 1360 Mary Hill Road at an estimated cost of $2,700. a That the "No Trucks” restriction on Mary Hill Road from the Mary Hill Bypass to Thea be removed. That $2,700 be allocated from the Public Works Capital Budget for this purpose. ny The Public Works Committee considered the attached memorandum from the Project/Traffic Technician regarding Parking signs and removal of "No Trucks" restriction on Mary Hill Road, north of the Mary Hill Bypass. Now that the Mary Hill Road extension is complete as an. arterial route, the Committee feels that the appropriate signing for Parking and for Trucks be placed. on the road. Placing "No Parking” signs on both sides of Mary Hill Road from the Mary Hill Bypass to the south property line of 1360 Mary Hill Road would improve the safety along Mary Hill Road. » Now that the road is built to accommodate truck traffic, the Committee recommends that truck restrictions be removed along Mary Hill Road from the Mary Hill Bypass to 1554 Mary Hill Road. | | | IRZ:gc Attachments Treasurer's Comments: There is sufficient funds in the 1991 Public Works Capital Budget for this purpose. i.
