SUBJECT: Revisions to Traffic Bylaw-Custom Transit Vehicles
(Public Works Committee Meeting June 8, 1989)

RECOMMENDATION :

That the City Clerk take the necessary steps to amend the Traffic
Regulations Bylaw as follows:

a. Include a new definition; "custom Transit Vehicles -— means motor
vehicles operated by B.C. Transit, used for the transportation of
invalid and/or disabled persons and are identified as such,"

b. Replace the word, "buses" with “buses and custom transit vehicles" in
those sections of the bylaw currently restricting access to buses only.
