ASSOCIATION CONCERNED CITIZENS P.O. BOX 76 PORT COQUITLAM, &.C. V3c 3V5 C 0 iy MAR 21 1977 farch 16, 1977 Kayor and Council c/o City Hall 2272 Vckllister Ave., Port Coquitlam B.C. Dear Mayor Campbell and Council; - The situation at the end of Prairie Avenue, has recently been brought to the attention of the Asscciaticn of Concerned Citizens. We would like to ask you, to take a serious lock at the misuse of this area by young people, drinking, partying, and speeding in cars; by recreaticnal vehicle owners tearing up the river banks, and by the City's ow street sweeper which frequently has dumped its refuse at the end of this street. The Coquitlam River, has enough trouble without this, toc. One solution to part of the problem, with excess traffic would be to erect a barracade at the end of Prairie Ave. We sincerely hope that Council will take immediate action in this regard, before the summer arrives, and the situation worsens. Thank you very much, Sincerely MR See Cle 5 pa) Mrs. S.L. Gullickson President
