X/Walk -Coast Mer.
| Rd.~Lynwood the following resolution passed at the February 18th, 1974 Council
meeting:
"..... 1) That a school crosswalk be established across Coast
Meridian Road coincident with the North side of Lynwood necessi-
tating the construction of a short stretch of sidewalk on the West
side of Coast Meridian Road from Greenmount South at a cost of
approximately $500. ....."
stating the Committee has reconsidered this matter and recommending that
a school crosswalk be established across Coast Meridian Road coincident
with the South side of Greenmount necessitating the construction of a

short stretch of sidewalk on the East side of Coast Meridian Road from

the easterly extension of the South side of Greenmount to Lynwood at a
cost of approximately $500.00.

That as recommended in a report from the Public Works Committee,
November lst, 1974, a school crosswalk be established across Coast

Meridian Road coincident with the South side of Greenmount necessitating
the construction of a short stretch of sidewalk on the East side of
Coast Meridian Road from the Easterly extension of the South side of
Greenmount to Lynwood at a cost of approximately $500.00;

AND THAT the following portion of the resolution passed at the
February 18th, 1974 Council meeting relating to this subject, be rescinded:
"1) that a school crosswalk be established across Coast Meridian

Road coincident with the North side of Lynwood necessitating

the construction of a shert stretch of sidewalk on the West

side of Coast Meridian Road from Greenmount South at a cost of

approximately $500." Carried.

Plan.& Zon.Comn. From the Planning & Zoning Committee, October 3ist, 1974, advising
re Appin. SS#21/74
of an application to subdivide by Strata Title Plan an existing duplex
on Lot 1, Block P, D.L. 466, Plan 16570, located at 1680 Prairie Avenue
and that in a statement from the applicant, the following reasons were
given for the request:
1. The applicant has recently been widowed and is not physically able
to maintain the duplex.

2. The applicant is unable to sell the duplex as one package due to

shortage of mortgage money.
