na Anat oct: LAME Rs emilee nee, Fort Coquitlam B.C., Dec. 4, 1978 Nayor and Council 2272 McAllister Port Coquitlan B.C, Dear Mayor and Council; The Association of Concerned Citizens’ are aware that our Council is presently putting our Budget for 1979 together. The Association wo..ld like to request that before the budget is completed, that money be put aside for the completion of Regina St. We feel the money must be spent at this time, for several reasons. With Priarie doad so often under repair as of late, and with oux Hyde Creek Recreation Centre so isolated from the public, the paving of Regina Will solve two problems, similtaneously. . As you are no doubt aware, with the increasing traffic volume in the area, and With literally no alternative route to Prairie Rd. a very aifficult situation arrises, especially when road work is being done. Regina Street would provide an. easy detour, One thinks of fire protection while waiting in long lines of traffic, to pass road crews. It is almost impossible for fire trucks to get out, at certain times of the day. That in it¢seff is reason enough to pave Begina 5t. Safety in omr school and our Rec Centre are an obkious priority. Thank you very much, for your consideration, we are confident that Council will make a wise and intelligent decision, regarding this matter. Sincerély _Sterutl ©) Llc fag Or,
