TOTAL FESTIVAL VISITS & PARTICIPANTS

It is estimated that the total number of visits at the Festival, including the two days
of educational programming for children, is 8,600. This number was provided by
Festival organizers. Exact numbers were provided for events with paid admission
such as the educational student programs, the Friday night concert at Centennial
Building and the Port Theatre concert on Saturday evening. For events where no
admission was charged, such as the downtown Ice Sculpture competitions and the
Festival Village activities on Saturday and Sunday, numbers were estimated using
counters on site or at the door.

The number of individual participants was determined by analysing participant
surveys and the number of events attended. The actual number of individual
