City Engineer SUBJECT; DEVELOPMENT OF LOWER MAINLAND MUNICIPAL SPECIFICATIONS (Public Works Committee Mecting of December 15, 1992) RECOMMENDATION: 1) That Council authorize the payment of $800 for the annual maintenance fee and $3,900 for development fee of Phases If and ID of the Master Municipal Tender Document Program, 2) The cost be charged to the Administration Account of the I-ublic Works General Fund. BACKGROUND & COMMENTS: In 1991, Council endorsed the development of a Master Municipal Tender Document Program and approved Phase | of this program which involves the completion of the main body of the Master Municipal Specifications Document, “ Phase II of this program entails the completion of approximately 85 standard engineering drawings which would be appended to the back of the main body of the Master Municipal Specifications. Phase IIT involves the preparation of the front end tender documents such as the invitation for tender, insurance and tender security and other legal requirements. Attached is a list showing the split for the development of Phases II and I among the various Lower Mainland municipalities along with an invoice for $4,700 to the City of Port Coquitlam for the City’s share of this program.
